The Fresh team is not sitting still. After previous updates this year, there is now another release full of smart improvements and new features. This release also shows how Fresh supports organizations with better communication, smart management and an intranet that employees really enjoy using.
This release focuses on newsletters, analytics and integration with Microsoft Teams. We’d like to take you through the key highlights!
Newsletters is one of the newest features in Fresh. This release immediately expands this functionality with smart enhancements that make communication even more effective:
For you, this means that internal newsletters not only look more professional, but also better align with the different types of communication in your organization.
How many employees actually open the newsletter? And which articles are clicked on? The new newsletter analytics module gives you instant insight into this.
The analytics are available as a separate tab in the Admin-portal. You can see both open and click rates of newsletters over time, as well as zoom in on a specific newsletter and compare its reach to the target groups you’ve defined. This allows you to see at a glance what’s working and where you can improve.
For communications professionals, this is a big step: you get hard numbers on reach and effectiveness, so your news coverage can be continuously improved. The intranet thus becomes an even more powerful channel for internal communication.
Not every organization uses Viva Connections, but almost everyone works in Microsoft Teams every day. With the new Teams Intranet app, you bring Fresh directly to Teams. Employees can access their intranet without leaving Teams; approachable and efficient.
In organizations with multiple intranet sites, which site is opened can be set for each user or target group. This is done through a new profile setting in which a URL can be defined. This way, every employee always gets to see the correct intranet environment.
The result: the intranet becomes more accessible and employees find their way to the right information faster.
Improvements have also been made for administrators. The most visible: a clear cache app in the admin panel. With it, you can easily fix refresh problems without complicated steps or dependence on IT.
This feature is especially useful when publishing news or modifying navigation. Administrators can now see their changes immediately, which saves a lot of time and avoids frustration.
In addition, a FreshMind disclaimer has been added so that organizations deploying AI functions are always transparent toward employees. The disclaimer makes it clear to employees that they are in conversation with an AI assistant and that answers should be critically evaluated. This is in line with the increasing need for responsible and transparent deployment of AI within organizations.
With this release, Fresh gives employees more convenience, communications professionals more insight and administrators more control. Thus, the intranet grows into an environment that benefits everyone.
