“Bo is indispensable because she really listens to our clients and always senses exactly which solution best suits their situation. With her sharp focus and warm, involved personality, she not only brings structure and overview, but also a cozy and positive atmosphere to our team. She dares to share new ideas and takes us along with her enthusiasm, which makes working with her inspiring and energizing every time. In addition, she is always genuinely interested in everyone around her, which makes her a valuable colleague.”
Bo likes to do CrossFit and even Olympic Weightlifting. So a real power women if you ask us!
Her ability to bring structure to complex IT issues and help organizations leverage their technology in ways they never thought possible.
A nice croissant or chocolate sandwich, but the best thing is to just let her sleep.
Bo did not take the most obvious path toward IT. She graduated as an applied psychologist, but soon felt her heart was not there. Through her mother, who works in IT herself, her interest was piqued. She decided to take the plunge and began a traineeship. There she started at the service desk, where she learned the basics. Soon she knew: I want more. Not just fix what is broken, but think about how things can be done better. This is how she grew and eventually found her niche at I4-YOU.
From policy to practice: thinking in terms of possibilities.
What does Bo really like about her work? The combination of technology and policy, from conception to execution. She is particularly interested in everything concerning Microsoft Purview. It may seem very technical, but for Bo the challenge lies in the bigger picture: how do you ensure that an organization handles information in a smart, safe and workable way?
To do so, she dives into the customer’s processes, asks the right questions and looks beyond the tools. Because what she notices is that many organizations use only a small part of what is possible. They often know they have to “do something with IT”, but not how. And that they use Microsoft is well known, but they have no idea what other possibilities it has to offer. Bo gladly helps organizations to get that clear. Thinking along, translating needs into concrete improvements, that is what energizes her.
Structure, standard and room for growth
If it’s up to Bo, there’s a good template for everything. She likes to structure, standardize things and set up processes logically. This not only makes work more efficient, but also clearer for everyone. And if possible, she tries to plan her work in such a way that she has room to deepen, think ahead and make a real impact.
In IT, you can only get far if you are willing to learn, try things and make mistakes. You really don’t have to have a hardcore tech background. Many people are afraid of not being able to do something or failing. But if you just start, you often see that you get much further than you thought. That is also her personal motto, borrowed from a good friend: often you are too afraid. And this is perhaps even more true in IT. With the right attitude and the will to learn, you can get surprisingly far. She herself is living proof of that.
A team where you can be who you are
What makes I4-YOU so special for Bo is the culture. A diverse team where differences are not only accepted, but appreciated. Everyone has their own expertise and approach, and yet it feels like one family. You can be yourself, there is room to learn and to make mistakes, and above all: you do it together.
The freedom she gets here to find her own way, contribute ideas and contribute to the direction of the organization, she finds immensely valuable. No fixed path, but the space to discover what works, for the customer and for yourself.
