Fresh Intranet has a brand new release! The Fresh team constantly listens to customers, follows the latest developments and effortlessly translates wishes into practical and innovative features. The latest update proves this once again: with the “fresh” new features you now literally celebrate successes together, keep your intranet even easier to keep consistent in styling and give content creators more creative freedom. We’d like to take you through the highlights of this update!
With this new web part, you give celebratory moments of colleagues a place on the intranet in a fun and visible way. Think of birthdays, work anniversaries or other milestones. For each “celebration type” you can choose an appropriate icon from a cheerful set of symbols, such as balloons, garlands or a trophy. That way, you’ll immediately notice when someone has something to celebrate. You can also set celebrations to automatically recur annually.
You decide who appears in this overview, for example, based on profile characteristics, a specific list or a manual selection. Thanks to flexible filters, you can also limit the display to, for example, a certain department or location.
A new feature for the admins among us. Consistency in appearance and ease of use are crucial to a strong intranet. That’s why Fresh Intranet introduces a handy admin feature to distribute and synchronize page templates across multiple sites within the intranet.
This makes it even easier to keep the look and feel consistent, while content creators are relieved of the burden of managing templates. Regardless of whether content is created on a central communication site or within a departmental site: the house style and structure remain guaranteed.
Creating content with more freedom? You can, starting now! Fresh web parts are fully supported within Microsoft’s new flexible layout sections.
Where you were previously limited to a maximum of three columns, you can now use up to twelve column widths and position elements freely. Think of overlapping elements, resizable content and dynamic page layouts.
The newsletter feature from the previous release gets a major upgrade, including:
These enhancements make newsletter creation even faster and more flexible. Reusable formats, more efficient curation of content , ideal for communications teams who regularly send newsletters.
This enhancement gives you a more complete view of all scheduled communications. Administrators can set which content types are visible in the calendar, including site pages, news items/letters and announcements.
Newsletters and announcements are now also shown when they are scheduled, so you always have a clear view of the schedule. This allows you to better coordinate content and avoid overlap in publications.
With this update, Fresh Intranet once again brings smart improvements and new features that make your intranet even more user-friendly. From increased employee engagement to better management capabilities and more creative freedom for content creators, with Fresh you have an intranet that is ready for the future. We’re already looking forward to the next release.
